Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience, current ARRT credentials, and Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care hospital within the Mammography department
• Day shifts of 5x8 hours from 8:00 to 17:30
• No floating required between like units
• No on-call obligations
• Block scheduling may be available for Sat-Mon if needed
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Radiology staff are expected to wear dark solid colored scrubs
• Free parking is provided on the first day with assignment parking given during orientation
• Former permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of this facility
• Limited RTO is allowed and all requests must be submitted up front
• All travelers may be required to float to facilities within the state based on assignment needs

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• Current ARRT and ARRT Advanced certifications required
• Active CA state license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience required
• Must have experience in acute care or comparable hospital settings
• References from at least 2 supervisors covering 1 year of recent experience in the specialty are required
• Must provide SSN and DOB for consideration
• COVID and flu vaccination or documentation may be required
