Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with Siemens equipment expertise and ARRT-MR certification for evening shifts.
Responsibilities
- Work in MRI tech unit providing diagnostic MRI services
- Handles cases across all ages from neonate to older adult
- Position covers both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Performs scans including Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head/Neck, Spine/Musculoskeletal, Diffusion, Perfusion, Gradient Echo, and more
- Preferred experience with breast and cardiovascular imaging
- Utilizes Siemens MRI equipment
- Shifts are Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Requires use of Epic for EMR documentation
- Isolation precautions may apply
- Locals considered but must reside outside a 60 mile radius to receive travel rate
- Performs a wide range of advanced MRI diagnostic procedures and image post-processing
- Role requires familiarity with gradient echo imaging, multiplanar reconstruction, spin echo imaging, surface coils, and T-1/T-2 weighted images
- Must comply with specific safety protocols and isolation requirements as needed
- Study guides and exam preparation resources are provided for onboarding
- Facility maintains a smoke-free environment
- Lower pay rate applies to local candidates within 60 miles
Requirements
- Current ARRT-MR certification required
- BLS certification via AHA required
- Experience operating Siemens MRI equipment is a must
- Must have Epic charting experience
- Florida or compact state license required if applicable
- Completion of Basic Arrhythmia assessment if necessary for work areas
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required with no declinations allowed
- Must pass EKG testing as part of onboarding
