Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level IV NICU night shift position requiring a CA RN license and previous travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Unit is a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Work schedule is 3x12 night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Patient population includes critically ill neonates with complex needs
• Care involves use of oscillators, ventilators, pressors, and advanced cardiac management
• Central venous catheters such as Broviac, IJ, and Femoral lines are used
• Duties include surgical wound care and CVC management for neonates
• Navy scrubs are required
• Pediatric advanced life support skills are expected

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years Level IV NICU experience
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP, PALS, RN
• Experience with ventilators, oscillators, pressors, and neonatal cardiac care
• Previous travel assignment experience is required
