Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of ER experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shifts are 12 hours in length
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- No on-call responsibilities
- Strict rules apply for time off: a maximum of 5 days unless coinciding with a holiday, in which case the limit is 3 days
- Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per assignment
- Requests for several consecutive days off during the holidays will not be approved
- Candidates can only apply to one position at a time
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license in hand required
- Minimum of 18 months ER nursing experience required
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility as local candidates are not accepted
- Former personnel must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
