Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and valid ARRT and BLS certifications for a rotating day/night schedule.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care Critical Access Hospital
• Work in the CT/Radiology Technologist unit performing CT, X-ray, and potentially surgery cases
• Patient care spans ED, inpatient, outpatient, OR, PACU, and CCU settings
• Typical caseload includes portable work across multiple floors
• Equipment includes GE Proteus X-ray, GE P500 X-ray and fluoro, Canon Aquilion SP CT, Medrad contrast injector, Sectra PACS, GE OEC C-arm Elite, and GE AMX 240 Portable X-ray
• Uses Epic Radiant EMR with expectation of competency
• 12-hour rotating day and night shifts, with 3 shifts per week and 1 in 4 weekends, about 60% overnight and 40% daytime
• Floating as needed to OR, CT, XR, Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient areas
• Duties include performing CT scans, general X-rays, portable imaging, and imaging in surgical and critical care areas
• Must wear grey scrubs while on duty
• Orientation consists of 8 hours
• Travelers who have previously worked at this health system must have a 6-month gap before consideration
• All staff must badge in and out at the facility
• Local candidates within 80 miles may be accepted

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• Valid Minnesota State License, ARRT, and BLS certifications required
• ARRT CT certification is preferred but not required with sufficient CT experience
• Experience with Epic EMR is necessary
• License required if applicable
