Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 3+ years experience and ARRT/BLS certification to join an acute care setting and rotate between CT and radiology duties.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care hospital within a combined CT/X-Ray department
• Technologists perform both CT and general radiology procedures across all shifts
• Solo tech coverage required after 7pm Monday to Friday and 24/7 on weekends
• Light to medium patient volume is typical
• EPIC is used for electronic charting
• Schedules include 8 and 12 hour rotating shifts with required weekend, night, and holiday coverage
• All technologists are responsible for light secretarial duties including scheduling outpatients and answering the call line
• No call techs are scheduled; staffing is direct on all shifts
• Scrub or dress code details not specified
• No local travelers permitted within a 50 mile radius of the facility
• Candidates who have worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers may not work within WVU facilities for more than one year cumulatively without a subsequent 2-year break

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in CT is preferred
• Graduate of an accredited radiological program
• ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Registration in Radiology required
• Ohio state radiologic technologist license required if applicable
• Experience toggling efficiently between CT and standard radiography is required
• CT registry preferred but not required for candidates with strong CT experience
