Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in a hospital setting with night shifts and floating requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital
• Patient population includes critical care, with possible assignment to Neuro ICU, Burn ICU, or Med/Surg/IMC as needed
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Floating required within skill set to other ICU units and to sites within 40 miles if needed
• CVICU and Neuro ICU experience is preferred but not required
• Patient assignments will be within scope of skill set
• May be floated to other departments including Neuro ICU and Burn ICU
• All travelers must provide two references as part of consideration
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate, per facility radius rules
• COVID vaccination is not required
• All positions are auto offer

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US address
• Copy of driver's license required
