Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in New Jersey, with 1.5+ years of experience and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit with a patient ratio of 1:5 or more
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Will float to other units within skillset when not needed in home unit
• Uses Epic EMR system
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Returning employees must have been separated from the health system for at least one year before being eligible
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Holiday coverage is required for alternate holidays
• No block scheduling is available

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1.5 years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and IV Certification required
• Open or active background or license hits not accepted
