Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts who has at least one year of independent CT and X-ray experience and strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital radiology department with responsibilities for both CT and X-ray imaging
• Shift is 3x12 hour nights, Saturday through Monday, from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every weekend is required on a block schedule
• One on-call night shift per week is required, with potential to be scheduled on Friday if needed
• Floating is required within the department and to sister facilities as needed
• Duties include performing both CT and X-ray exams independently
• Equipment used includes GE scanners and PACS
• The work environment includes clinical aides and backup staff available for on-call support
• Coverage of holidays as scheduled is required
• Candidates may be required to float to sister facilities within the organization as operationally necessary
• Scrubs or dress code requirements not specified
• License required if applicable

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in CT and X-ray with the ability to function independently
• Current MD state license required; will accept pending but proof of application must be provided within 48 hours of offer
• ARRT-CT/R and BLS certifications required
• Must have strong CT and X-ray skills
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role
