Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and active MN licensure for an acute care assignment utilizing Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in an acute care setting with services in outpatient, inpatient, and home care
• Main location is Tracy, with required travel to Sanford Westbrook and Murray County Medical Center in Slayton
• Outpatient department includes a wellness center and is attached to a 15-bed hospital
• Typical shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with minimal weekend and holiday rotation
• Float only within therapy services and to different locations as assigned
• Procedures include physical therapy evaluation and treatment, PTA supervision, and various orthopedic and rehabilitation therapies
• Uses Epic for documentation; equipment includes Ultrasound, Estim, and Tractium Ionto
• Responsibilities include PT evaluation, treatment planning, and supervision of PTAs across multiple care settings
• No long-term care responsibilities
• EPIC EMR training provided as needed with manager support available at all times
• Scrubs or business casual attire required; acceptable colors include ceil blue, khaki, gray, and chocolate brown
• Minimal weekend and holiday coverage is required in rotation with other staff
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Applicants with prior employment at Sanford Health must have ended their previous assignment at least 6 months prior to consideration
• Local candidates within 80 miles are accepted

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in physical therapy with ortho and rehab skills
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Minnesota PT license required if applicable
• Successful completion of Minnesota Background Study required
• Ability to work flexible shifts and float to additional therapy locations as needed
