Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on night shifts, requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a combined Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit
• Treats a range of med/surg and telemetry patients
• Shift schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Not eligible for first-time travelers who have been perm staff at the specified health system within the last year
• Team-based care environment with support from medical and ancillary staff
• Compliance with dress code and hospital policies required
• Specific orientation and training will be provided upon assignment start

Requirements

• Active NC or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience
• Current BLS certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• COVID vaccine card required
• Cannot have worked as perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility
