Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer for an outpatient clinic, requiring at least 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Focus on OB/GYN patients
  • Perform gynecological and obstetrical sonograms, including transabdominal and endovaginal scans
  • Caseload includes normal and abnormal pelvic exams, fetal anatomy surveys, and biophysical profiles
  • Responsibilities include conducting thorough sonographic studies and identifying fetal anomalies
  • Candidates must be able to accurately document findings and report significant results to providers
  • There is no 100-mile radius rule for allied health positions including this role
  • Experience in both transabdominal and endovaginal ultrasound techniques is required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years OB/GYN sonography experience required
  • At least 1 year of experience in an outpatient clinic in the past 3 years is required
  • Demonstrated ability to identify normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy and fetal structures in all three trimesters
  • Skilled in measuring techniques for both gynecological and obstetrical imaging, including biophysical profiles and detection of fetal anomalies such as ectopic pregnancies
  • Certification or license required if applicable
