Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong specialty experience and a TX or compact RN license for a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Patient cases include general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics surgeries
• Hybrid schedule with shifts rotating between 6:30–15:00 and 10:30–19:00
• 8-hour shifts with rotating days off and day-to-mid-shift rotation with prior notice
• Includes weekday, weekend, and holiday call requirements
• Fast-paced OR environment
• Responsibilities include circulator and scrub roles for a variety of surgical specialties
• Local candidates within a 110-mile radius are not accepted
• Holiday call coverage is required as part of the schedule
• Fast-paced team environment supporting complex surgical procedures

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• 5 years of OR RN experience preferred, may consider less with strong specialty experience
• Recent strong experience in general, neuro, ortho, trauma, or robotics surgeries required
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Must provide two supervisory references from the last three years
