Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department evening shift position in California requiring a CA RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Evening shifts available with a 3x12 hour schedule, starting at 15:00
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
• Care for a diverse emergency patient population
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required
• Returning former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before being eligible for a travel position
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Requested time off must be addressed at the time of application, and changes after offer may be denied
• Travelers must be willing to float between multiple facilities as assigned

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and relevant advanced certifications required
• Experience with Epic EMR system required
• Must provide at least two supervisory references covering one year of recent employment in a comparable specialty
• SSN and DOB are required for consideration
