Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a TX or compact license and required specialty certifications for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ER) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Patient care responsibilities include triage, trauma, and urgent/emergent care for all ages
• Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule; local candidates are not eligible for consideration
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the schedule
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience required
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA or ARC
• CPI or equivalent crisis intervention certification required for ER
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
• NIH Stroke certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
