Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of experience and ACLS/BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position in a hospital-based Cath Lab unit
- Short term acute care, Level III trauma facility
- 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with 30-40 procedures performed per week
- Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing during procedures
- Shift consists of four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 am – 5:00 pm) with rotating days off
- Call required 1-2 weeknights and every 3rd weekend
- Charting systems used: Merge/Hemo and Cerner
- No floating required within the facility
- Provide patient care during cath lab procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Scrub attire is provided by the facility
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Free parking is available on-site
- Block scheduling requests may be considered per contract
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license (pending accepted, must be active by start)
- At least 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Willingness and ability to take required call shifts
