Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro-Trauma ICU night shift position requiring a current CO or compact license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Neuro-Trauma ICU setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00) with variable days
• Weekend and on-call requirements per unit needs
• Cares for critically ill neuro-trauma patients
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must adhere to blackout dates for time off: March 14–21, 2026, May 8–11, 2026, May 21–27, 2026, June 28–July 9, 2026
• A maximum of 10 days requested time off is approved outside of blackout periods
• Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive critical care to neuro-trauma ICU patients
• Weekend and holiday coverage may be required by unit needs

Requirements

• Active RN license from CO or a compact state, in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• First-time travelers accepted
