Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a compact or MD license, NRP and EFM certifications, and at least two years of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 to 19:00
• Expected patient ratios of 1:3-4
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call duties
• Floating may be required within similar units
• Local candidates are accepted
• Not open to first-time travelers
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Requests for time off are limited to one request
• No special requirements or documentation outside those listed
• No floating to sister facilities is required

Requirements

• Active RN license from MD or a compact state
• Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required; 3 years preferred
• Must provide two professional references
• Accepts candidates with a pending state license
