Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of acute care Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and IR/stroke experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in a STEMI and stroke receiving acute care hospital with 4 labs
Supports cardiac, electrophysiology, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology cases
Procedures include TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro, and IR
Day shifts (4x10 hours) from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call requirements that include weekends
Expect to float between specialties within the lab
Epic EMR is used; experience required
First-time travelers are eligible for this assignment
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state if needed
Scrubs are provided for this role
Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) is preferred and must be included at the time of application
COVID and flu vaccinations may be required
Day-to-day duties include supporting a variety of advanced cardiac, neuro, and interventional radiology procedures

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year acute care Cath Lab technologist experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and Fluoroscopy Permit required; state license required if applicable
Cannot accept RCIS in place of ARRT
Experience with interventional radiology and stroke preferred; EP/structural heart experience not required
Must provide two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty
