Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring an active OK or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
• 13-week assignment duration
• No blocked scheduling requests allowed
• Floating required to all facilities within a 75-mile radius
• No local candidates accepted; permanent address must be outside 75-mile radius
• Maximum of 5 days requested time off allowed per 13-week assignment
• No holiday or blackout dates may be requested for time off
• First-time travelers accepted if all requirements are met
• Must report on time to each shift or provide advance notice if delayed
• Orientation and training provided at start of assignment
• Return travelers considered if eligible per prior employment policy

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
• Current BLS certification required
• No history of license issues or disciplinary actions
• Submission of driver's license and a utility bill with matching address from the last 3 months required
• Two supervisory references required
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
• Permanent staff must have been gone for at least 1 year from prior employment to be eligible
