Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN with a current MA license and Level 1 trauma experience for a day/night rotating position.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department with a rotating day/night schedule
• 36 or 48 hour work weeks available
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Cares for Level 1 trauma patient population
• Uses Epic charting system
• Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from the hospital
• Public transportation and paid parking options are available; validated parking is not provided
• Timekeeping is managed via UKG/Kronos system
• First-time travelers are not eligible
• RTO (requested time off) must be communicated during application

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of travel and Level 1 trauma experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Proof of MA licensure required for consideration
• Flu vaccination required without exception
