Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in California requiring CA RN license and certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department in a hospital setting
• Variable 12-hour shifts including day, evening, and night options
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other campuses within scope of practice may be required
• Must be absent from the health system for at least 1 year to be eligible for return as a traveler
• Only one holiday time off request will be considered
• Candidates may be asked to work at different campuses as census requires

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of ED RN experience required
• Must live outside of a 50 mile radius from the facility
• Must be able to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
