Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in California requiring CA RN license and certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department in a hospital setting
- Variable 12-hour shifts including day, evening, and night options
- Every other weekend rotation required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating to other campuses within scope of practice may be required
- Must be absent from the health system for at least 1 year to be eligible for return as a traveler
- Only one holiday time off request will be considered
- Candidates may be asked to work at different campuses as census requires
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of ED RN experience required
- Must live outside of a 50 mile radius from the facility
- Must be able to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
