Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Room position in Oregon requiring an active RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system
• Preference given to candidates with a BSN, CEN, TNCC, demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac dysrhythmias, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Contingent workers may not exceed two years of assignments without a 90-day break
• Scrub and dress code details provided upon assignment

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required at time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year recent (within last 3 years) full-time ER RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
