Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with Siemens CT and ARRT(CT) certification to work night shifts in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Position based in adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Night shifts; three 12-hour shifts per week, Friday through Sunday, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirement
• Candidate may be required to float within skillset
• CT imaging for abdomen and pelvis, chest (with/without contrast), head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
• Uses Siemens CT scanners; Epic EMR experience preferred
• Role includes preparing and administering contrast media, adhering to radiation safety standards, and starting peripheral IVs as needed
• Candidates must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract, per rotation
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Locals not accepted; radius rule applies
• All RTO (requested time off) must be included at time of application
• May be required to float to other units within scope of practice

Requirements

• Current BLS, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Experience working with Siemens CT equipment required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Competency in administering contrast media, ensuring radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
• Must have a valid VA state license or an active state license eligible for emergency authorization in Virginia (license required if applicable)
• Previous experience in adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings required
• Two references required for consideration
