Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with circulation, scrub, and PACU skills for a day shift role requiring a ME or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a critical access hospital operating room setting
• Handles perioperative care with responsibilities in circulating, scrubbing, and PACU phase 1 recovery
• Patient population includes general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB-GYN, pain management, urology, and endoscopy cases
• Day shift schedule
• Call required with a 45-minute arrival time
• Deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient- and family-centered care during all perioperative phases
• Must be able to communicate effectively with the perioperative team
• Expected to maintain confidentiality and support organizational mission and values

Requirements

• Active ME or compact RN license
• Minimum of 1 year operating room experience in a critical access hospital required
• Current certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Experience with circulating, scrubbing, and PACU recovery
• CNOR certification preferred
