Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn/Surgical ICU position requiring an active MA RN license and prior ICU and travel nursing experience.

Details

Position is in the Burn/Surgical ICU, caring for adult complex surgical and critically ill medical patients
Thermal burn patients make up less than 10% of the caseload
Work within a closed ICU model with a dedicated multidisciplinary team
36-hour work week with day and night rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Care provided using the Epic EMR system

Requirements

Active MA RN license is required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification is required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
At least 1 year of travel experience is required
Primary license verification through NURSYS and Board of Nursing is required
Flu vaccination is mandatory with no religious or medical exemptions

Additional Information

Work with a team of APPs, surgical teams, consultants, and 24/7 in-house attending ICU physicians
All patients are managed by a coordinated multidisciplinary team
Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from the hospital
No pending MA licenses accepted for consideration
Parking is not validated and public transportation or paid public parking is available
