Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of cath lab experience and expertise in interventional radiology and invasive cardiology procedures.

Responsibilities

Work in a community hospital cath lab setting
Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
Perform interventional radiology and invasive cardiology procedures
Utilize Siemens imaging equipment and Epic EMR
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
On-call requirement of 1 day per week and every 4th weekend
Main duties include performing cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures for adult and geriatric patients
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Scrubs or dress code details not specified
Must be prepared to follow infection prevention and PPE protocols
Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted

Requirements

Current ACLS, BLS, CRT, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Radiology Technologist
At least 2 years focused experience in a cath lab required
Demonstrated skills in adult acute care, bedside and portable procedures, radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions
Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media
Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment and Epic EMR
Community hospital experience required
License required if applicable
