Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults requiring medical-surgical and cardiac telemetry care
• 3x12 hour rotating day and night shifts, with shifts possibly varying according to operational needs
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic locations may not exceed 18 consecutive months
• A minimum six-month gap is required before returning for another assignment at the same health system
• Documentation of two professional references, driver's license, and SSN is required for consideration

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand required
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment must be passed during orientation
