Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift position requiring a GA or compact license and prior NICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting
• Night shift with 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Strict guidelines for requested time off: maximum of 5 days unless the time off is on or near a holiday, in which case a maximum of 3 days is allowed
• Only one holiday request is permitted during the assignment
• Returning travelers or staff must observe separation period requirements before being considered for rehire
• No first-time travelers or locals within the 50-mile radius will be considered

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of recent NICU nursing experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; locals not eligible
• Returning former staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year, and from the same facility for 18 months
