Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float position requiring MS/Tele, cardiac tele, and ER holding experience, as well as a compact or MD RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital setting with float responsibilities across Med/Surg, IMC, MS/Tele, and ED Boarder units
- Night shift schedule with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (1900-0730)
- Required to work every third weekend
- Care for diverse patient populations including med/surg, intermediate care, telemetry, and ED boarder patients
- Float assignments to ED to care for boarder patients and to inpatient units as needed
- Must be able to float as needed to multiple units, including ED for boarder patients
- Night shift role with every third weekend required
- Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered

Requirements
- Active RN license in Maryland or compact state
- Minimum of 2 years relevant RN experience
- Prior MS/Tele and cardiac telemetry nursing experience required
- ER holding experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
- CPI and NIHSS certifications preferred
