Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med-Surg Telemetry position on a 28-bed Renal Med-Surg unit, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

28-bed Renal Med-Surg (Tele) unit in a hospital setting
Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
13-week contract
Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale
SSN and a valid US home address required
Two professional references required
Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

Provides direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and facilitating discharge planning
Navy/maroon scrubs required
Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies that may affect the travel pay rate
COVID vaccination is not required
