Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and active ARRT CT registration for a night shift contract at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities

• Night shift schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (4x10-hour shifts)
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• Position is based at a large academic medical center
• Background check results are reviewed by the facility; candidates with any open cases will not be accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing a contract
• RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of submission and discussed during the interview
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
• Former permanent employees of Cleveland Clinic hospitals cannot return for a minimum of 1 year from their previous end date

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent, paid experience in CT scanning
• Active ARRT registration with CT certification
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Active Ohio RN license required; compact licenses accepted (for starts 1/1/2023 and forward) — license required if applicable
• Two supervisory references (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the CT specialty required for consideration, including at least one permanent position reference from the past 12 months
• A reference from the most recent travel assignment is required for candidates with travel experience
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine is required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required
• All certifications must be active at time of consideration — no pending certifications accepted
