Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/Oncology mixed unit position requiring ICU experience with central lines, arterial lines, and vasopressor titration on night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a mixed ICU and floor-level oncology unit within a large academic hospital setting (500+ bed facility)
• Adult oncology patient population including bone marrow transplant, hematologic malignancies, and solid tumor malignancies
• Cardiac monitoring management required
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed by the unit
• No on-call required
• Orientation sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• ICU experience required, including central line and arterial line management
• Experience with vasopressor titration required
• Experience in a 500+ bed facility required
• ACLS preferred
• Oncology experience preferred
• Aiaris pump experience preferred
• CRRT experience preferred
• Critical care certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Trauma course completion preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration
