Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a major hospital campus in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an OH or compact RN license in hand.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a large hospital setting
• Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Shift times may vary based on operational needs of the hospital, though preferred shifts will be honored when possible
• Two professional references required for consideration
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, and acceptable scores on both are required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• After 18 consecutive months at any location within this health system, a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment there

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to any travel assignments
• Must provide a copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card for consideration
