Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a multi-modality XR/CT role requiring at least 2 years of CT experience and proficiency in a minimum of two radiology modalities.

Responsibilities

• Works in a hospital-based imaging department performing CT and X-Ray as a dual modality technologist
• Serves patients across all age groups
• Canon CT scanners are available; experience preferred but not required
• Epic (Radiant) EMR is in use
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend is built into the schedule
• On-call as requested
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Responsibilities include performing CT and radiographic procedures across multiple modalities while maintaining competency in at least two
• Must be able to clearly communicate exam and procedure instructions to patients of all age groups
• Proficiency with imaging equipment, patient care equipment, and basic computer software troubleshooting is expected
• No RTO will be approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• RTO is capped at 8 days for a 13-week contract
• Unit Manager conducts candidate interviews

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiology experience, including at least 2 years as a CT Technologist
• Proficiency in a minimum of two radiology modalities required
• Must hold CT and X-Ray experience to qualify for this position
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Florida State DOH licensure or ARRT certification in a minimum of two modalities required; FL license required if applicable
• At least 1 reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
