Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in SE Wisconsin, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
• Hospital Emergency Department setting
• Experience in a larger ED department is required
• Uses Epic EMR
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Block scheduling is not available
• May be required to float within skill set, either on-site or to facilities within 40 miles
• Provide emergency nursing care within a high-volume hospital ED environment
• Local candidates are accepted; however, a radius rule applies and may affect the travel pay rate — contact your recruiter for details
• COVID vaccination is not required

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• TNCC required (renewed every 4 years)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
• MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, renewed every 2 years
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration
