Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience for an inpatient acute care hospital position requiring BLS, state licensure, and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Inpatient acute care hospital setting with a focus on acute care and inpatient rehabilitation evaluation
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8 schedule)
- Weekend rotation approximately every 6–7 weeks; when working a weekend, the PT receives one day off the week before and one day after
- Holiday rotation required, approximately one holiday per year
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience required
- Inpatient rehabilitation hospital experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid state PT license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must be comfortable performing acute care and inpatient rehab evaluations
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs or khakis with a lab coat
- Fit testing for a standard respirator mask is required; candidates must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal — CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided and personal CAPRs/PAPRs are not permitted on-site, with no exceptions
