Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience to work nights in a Level I trauma center CT department.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient CT department within a Level I trauma center, Stroke Accredited facility
• Work setting includes ER and Adult ICU environments with emergent inpatient needs
• CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend rotation required
• On-call rotation approximately once every 10 weeks
• Perform a full range of CT procedures including brain perfusion, abdomen/pelvis, chest, spine, MSK, and head/neck studies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Respond promptly to emergent situations as part of the on-call rotation
• Facility serves a diverse community and operates as a Level I trauma and Stroke Accredited center
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of submission
• No break required between assignments for representation changes (does not apply to Sterile Processing Techs)

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• ARRT Advanced certification preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment such as a Level I trauma or ER setting
• License required if applicable
