Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Boston, MA, requiring at least 3 years of inpatient surgery experience and Level 1 trauma experience.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- 12-hour day shifts, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
- Every other holiday required
- On-call is required for this position
- Level 1 trauma cases are a core part of this role
- Candidate must be competent in at least 5 OR surgical services
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
- Parking is available at the facility for a monthly fee; details and current pricing can be found at or by calling
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgery (OR) experience required
- Level 1 trauma hospital experience required
- Must be competent in at least 5 surgical service lines
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible, positive attitude required
- Two professional references on file required, with at least one from a manager-level or above (title must reflect 'Manager,' not 'Supervisor'), including a performance evaluation; one reference must be within the past 12 months and the other within 3 years
- References from fellow travelers are not accepted
- Must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B); test may only be taken twice
