Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Neuro position requiring at least 18 months of neuro stepdown experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Stepdown Neuro unit
• May float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract
• Must achieve acceptable scores on an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment, both completed during orientation
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience required; travel experience accepted toward this requirement
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
