Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Massachusetts, requiring 2 years of critical care experience, an MA RN license in hand, and willingness to float to PCU.

Responsibilities

• Hospital ICU setting with float responsibilities to the PCU as needed
• Ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring are core components of this role
• 36 or 48 hour weekly schedules available
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Meditech Expanse is the EMR used; prior experience strongly preferred
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application; scheduling requests will not be approved after an offer is extended and may result in a rescinded offer
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
• Copies of all certifications must be provided for consideration

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration — no exceptions
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of current critical care experience required
• Willingness to float to PCU is required
• Proficiency with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring required
• Must have personal reliable transportation — this is a firm requirement
• BSN preferred
• TNCC preferred
