Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a major hospital campus in Cleveland, Ohio, requiring at least 18 months of permanent MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Large academic hospital campus setting in Cleveland, OH
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Day/Night rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM); shift rotation may occur based on operational needs
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Holiday coverage required for at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required (travel experience counts)
• One year of recent oncology/chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Experienced oncology nurses are encouraged to apply; training will be provided to qualified candidates interested in chemotherapy administration
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic facility
