Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Surgery OR position requiring Epic proficiency, CNOR certification, and experience in Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eye surgeries.

Responsibilities

  • Hospital-based Pediatric Surgery Operating Room setting
  • 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
  • Call is required with a minimum of two 4-hour, two 8-hour, and two 12-hour call shifts per 6-week period
  • Case types include Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eye surgeries
  • Pediatric surgical patient population
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • This is a nicotine-free facility; nicotine testing is conducted alongside the standard drug screen
  • A current skills checklist matching the OR specialty is required
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission
  • Shifts may vary within the night shift schedule

Requirements

  • Active GA or Compact RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, PEARS, and CNOR
  • Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
  • Experience in Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eye surgery required
  • Pediatric OR experience preferred
  • Epic EMR proficiency required
  • Flu vaccination required — no exemptions (medical or religious) will be accepted
  • Must pass a nicotine test as part of the drug screening process
  • 2 recent OR Supervisor/Manager references required for consideration
  • Date of birth required for consideration
