Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist (Radiologic Technologist - CT) for a full-time, Monday–Friday day shift contract requiring ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications and a minimum of 2 years of CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting within a CT Body imaging department
• Monday–Friday day shifts, 8 hours per day (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
• 40 hours per week
• Flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths may be required
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
• On-call pager response may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Alpha Scanner training is provided
• Produces high-quality CT images in accordance with established radiology department standards
• Operates and maintains competency across a variety of imaging equipment and technology
• Adheres to safety guidelines for patients, self, and support personnel
• Supports team effectiveness through clear communication and collaborative practice
• Travelers who have previously been on assignment at this facility may return after a mandatory 30–60 day break, not to exceed one cumulative calendar year from their initial start date — contact your recruiter for details

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field and graduation from an accredited radiography program required
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Active state license required (if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required, or at least 3 total travel assignments
• Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
• Date of birth (DOB) required for consideration
• COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
