Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a flexible Med/Surg and Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, PALS, and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Small community hospital setting covering both the Med/Surg and Emergency Department units based on departmental needs
• Patient populations include adult med/surg, orthopedic, pediatric med/surg, and emergency room patients
• Variable shift schedule covering days, nights, and weekends
• 26-week contract
• This is a cross-trained role requiring flexibility to work in either the Med/Surg unit or the Emergency Department depending on daily staffing needs
• Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and demonstrate accountability and respect toward all staff members

Requirements

• Active CA RN license in good standing required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC required within one year of hire
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school required
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and all levels of the organization
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
