Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week assignment at a short-term acute care hospital in Portland, OR.

Responsibilities

• 418-bed short-term acute care hospital setting
• CT Scan unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Scheduled shifts on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3x12-hour day shifts)
• Weekends are not required
• On-call is required: one week of standby call during the duration of the contract
• Charting via Epic (required)
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable for this role
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; time off requests should be addressed prior to or at the time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Travel experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Current ARRT (CT) certification and applicable state license required if applicable
• Current BLS required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
