Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital imaging department setting
• Modalities include CT and vascular imaging
• Perform routine CT scans per radiologist protocols
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation experience preferred
• 10-hour varied shifts with no call requirements
• Perform routine CT scans per radiologist protocols, with advanced capabilities in MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging a plus
• Experience with venipuncture, biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging is a plus
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to their assignment start date; travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to attend a Friday Employee Health clearance appointment
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
• Current ARRT(CT) certification required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment (must apply upon acceptance if not currently held)
• Ability to function independently without supervision
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exception required prior to start
