Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 18 months to 2 years of experience for a night shift position at a Level I Trauma acute care hospital in Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with a busy Emergency Department and Level I Trauma, Stroke, and Vascular programs
- CT Scan unit performing advanced exams including Coronary CTA, TAVR, cardiac imaging, and low-dose exams
- Patient populations include adult acute care, adult outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- One 12-hour on-call shift required per month
- Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital based on operational needs
- Charting via Cerner (experience required)
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted for this Allied position
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler
- Royal blue scrubs required
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Required certifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and current BLS (AHA or RQI accepted)
- Indiana state radiology license required; pending IN license accepted if ETA is within 2 weeks of start date
- License required if applicable
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, and ED settings required
- COVID-19 vaccination required
