Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week contract in Roseville, CA, requiring ARRT or RCIS certification and at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab supporting cardiologists, registered nurses, and radiology staff
• Day shift, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call is required and will vary on weekdays and weekends
• 13-week contract
• Provide technical support for procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including execution and technical analysis under the supervision of a Cardiologist or Interventional Radiologist
• Integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to ensure safe and precise treatment
• Conduct patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
• May be responsible for mentoring and training students
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Previously employed staff must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved

Requirements

• ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Current BLS required
• CA license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
