Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN Nurse Manager for an Endoscopy Unit position requiring a MA RN license and a minimum of 5 years of specialty nursing experience with supervisory background.

• Position is based in a hospital Endoscopy Unit with oversight responsibilities that also extend to Interventional Radiology
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license currently in hand
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience within the endoscopy specialty area
• 3–5 years of supervisory or assistant manager experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copies of current certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour accountability for the management of the Endoscopy Unit and Interventional Radiology, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care
• Oversees a multidisciplinary team including RNs, CNAs, Patient Care Assistants, and Unit Secretaries
• Responsible for ensuring delivery of quality services and that professional nursing is practiced in accordance with established standards
• Strong assistant manager candidates may be considered with approval
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a local pay rate
